I am proud to say, that this year, my Illest of Ill poster design submission got selected and is going to print! Illest of Ill is an annual themed show at my school, and this year the theme is “Twisted Fairytales.” (Hence the Sleeping Beauty.) You can check out the official blog for the event here illestofillustration.tumblr.co…. I am pleased with how this came out in a short amount of time!

It reminds me of moths. In a bad and good way at the same time. Perfect details, amazing colours.

My word, your style is so very elegant and dramatic, modest and sincere! I simply adore your work, ma'am!

Very Nice! Congratulations for the selection. very well deserved.!
You're very talented, you've got a unique style.
The gloom in the style, and all this attention to details is simply astounding! You've brought up a very darkly beautiful image, starting with her hair, with the roses at the bottom, the pattern in her sleeves and that amazingly creepy skull/face. And the hints of a mummy theme. Absolutely awesome!

Nice!! love it!! >DDDD
Is it possible for something to be both creepy and inspiring at the same time? Yes, yes it is.
Very well done!
I'm not sure if this is your concept, but 'sleeping beauty' sounds to me like a princess lay cold, dead and inside
a ribbon-bound coffin.
I love the wrapping around the body, and for some reason I've taken a liking to those dark, leathery-skinned feet.
People may see me as weird when I say this, but I think she's beautiful, especially as the ill-fated princess of a
surprisingly morbid fairytale.
Good job, friend!

Guess the prince never showed up.
The original story is actually pretty twisted... and disturbing. About rape and cannibalism.
I really like the colors and details in your poster design.
Hihi, I guess the prince came to late.
